minibombo
-
A website for a publisher of books for children and the grown-ups who read along with them.
minibombo is an independent children's books publisher based in Reggio Emilia (Italy), but active
worldwide since 2013. Their books are all originals, and are designed with a distinctive visual style,
targeted to small children (1-3 years old).
At Zetalab, we redesigned their website, showcasing their whole printed catalogue, their mobile gaming apps,
and all the extra DIY printable content that the publisher releases with each book.
I was in charge of the web design and development of the website, created with the Django framework.
Digital paperbacks
-
The visual identity for a book publisher's website was based on... books!
The colored book spine was used as graphical element for the tabs and blocks of the interface.
With CSS and JS animation, we created digital shelves that showcase minibombo's catalogue, with virtual
books that jump, flip and tumble.

Choosing a story
-
The catalogue is featured with a simple filtering and ordering interface that allows users to
select books by date, title, and colour of the cover.
Every book has its own dedicated page, that showcases the story and the extra content, without
spoiling the end!
