Between 2021 and 2023 I was asked to design the poster and the visual identity for three
editions of
IVIPRO
Days,
an event hosted by the Italian Videogame Program, where Italian and international
guests share with the audience their experience in creating
or supporting the creation of games that promote the Italian territory and cultural heritage.
The 2021 edition of IVIPRO Days was held online, while in 2022 and 2023 the event took place in
Trieste
as part of the Science+Fiction Festival.
I took care of the art direction of the project and the visual design of the digital and printed assets for the communication of the event.
The posters for the three editions I curated. From the left: 2021, 2022 and 2024.
The 2023 edition was inspired by the Italian territory: curvy hills where a bright sun-like arcade sticks shines in the sky.
For the 2022 edition I took direct inspiration from Sicilian maiolics. Typically Italian imagery was crossed with purely digital elements from early videogames.
The 2021 visuals once again lay at the intersection between analog and digital art: the layout is inspired by the plan of a Bramante villa, but looks like a floppy disk.
