IVIPRO Days
-
An international festival about the role of the Italian territory in video games.
Between 2021 and 2023 I was asked to design the poster and the visual identity for three editions of
IVIPRO Days,
an event hosted by the Italian Videogame Program, where Italian and international
guests share with the audience their experience in creating
or supporting the creation of games that promote the Italian territory and cultural heritage.
The 2021 edition of IVIPRO Days was held online, while in 2022 and 2023 the event took place in Trieste
as part of the Science+Fiction Festival.
I took care of the art direction of the project and the visual design of the digital and printed assets for the communication of the event.
Theme and inspiration
-
The graphics for the 2022 edition of the event were inspired by Sicilian
majolica art, a traditional visual element of Italy, which was transformed
into abstract elements that could be found in a sci-fi videogame from the '80s.
Similarly, the visuals for the other editions were inspired by Italian architecture
(2021) and natural landscape (2023).
Communication assets
-
The visual aesthetic of the poster was translated into different social media assets, like banners and overlays for the speakers' cards.
