In august 2021, and then again in 2022, I was asked to designed the poster for
IVIPRO Days,
an event hosted by the Italian Videogame Program
where both Italian and international guests share with the audience their experience in creating
or supporting the creation of games that promote the Italian territory and heritage.
The 2021 edition of IVIPRO Days was held online, while the 2022 happened in Trieste.
▶ What I did
I took care of the art direction of the project and the visual design of the digital and printed assets for the communication of the event.
Designed in 2021-22.

The front of the poster is both a reference to one of the most recognizable physical support for old-school videogames, the floppy disk, and an idealized planimetry of a historical Villa (I took Palladio's La Rotonda as a starting point).
The visual aesthetic of the poster was translated into different social media assets, like banners and overlays for the speakers.
The graphics for the 2022 edition of the event was inspired by Sicilian majolica art, a traditional visual element of Italy, which was transformed into abstract elements that could be found in a sci-fi videogame from the '80s.
The 2022 edition was hosted by Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, the most important sci-fi themed event in Italy.
